Trophy Design and Production for WPHS Speech & Debate Winter Classic

WPHS Speech and Debate team organized their first tournament and hired Studio 235 designers and Eagle Precision to design and fabricate the trophies!

With winter in mind, two specialty acrylics selected for the design. A 1/4” bright blue was used for the main slab of the trophy, along with a 1/8” multi-color sparkle acrylic for the snowflake. 

Our CTE Machine Tool Tech program, Eagle Precision, cut the large sheets of blue acrylic down into the slab shapes, then we shared the duty of engraving the design onto the slab.

Park Builders designed and prepared the wooden bases, while Studio 235 laser engraved and paint filled the white nameplates which were later attached to the bases by Eagle Precision.

Wooden plaques were additionally prepared by Park Builders, engraved by Studio 235 and hardware added by Eagle Precision.

A true collaboration of epic proportion!!!



The CTE Graphic Design program at Wheeling Park High School prepares students to enter the field of design or for further education in this field.
